Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Fizzdoc does the work inside your browser tab, using open-source engines compiled to WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your file is read from your device, processed locally, and the result is saved straight back to your device. You can check this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab, and run a job — no request carries your file.

How many photos can a collage have?

From 1 to 9. Each number of photos has its own layouts, such as side by side, stacked, one big photo with smaller ones, or a grid. If you add more than 9, the first 9 are used.

Can I move or zoom each photo?

Yes. Open Photo, tap a photo to pick it, then drag it to choose what shows in its frame, and use Zoom to get closer. To swap photos, change their order in the file list.

What sizes can I save?

Square, Portrait 4:5 and Story 9:16 for social media, Wide 16:9, and A4 for printing: 1080 or 2160 px on the short side, or 2480 px for A4 at 300 dpi. As JPG, PNG or WebP, with no watermark.

Is Fizzdoc free?

Yes, and it stays free: no sign-up, no watermark, no daily limit and no premium tier. Fizzdoc is open source under the Apache-2.0 license, so anyone can run their own copy.
